OCIA ORDER OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS
Are you or anyone you know interested in exploring the Catholic Church as your church home? Do you wish to explore what the Catholic Church is all about? Wonderful! This is your personal invitation to join the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. The RCIA is a spiritual journey of discernment, instruction, and prayer designed for those who wish to explore what it is all about. If you are interested, please contact the Parish Office at 6139383100
Walk alongside other adults exploring the Catholic faith. We provide encouragement and friendship as you journey through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. We create a welcoming environment for learning and spiritual growth, guiding new members warmly into the Church community. Explore the Catholic Faith – Join the RCIA to become better acquainted with the Catholic Church in a supportive and respectful environment. With a better understanding and deepened faith, you can decide to complete the sacraments of baptism, reconciliation, communion, and confirmation.
The RCIA program is open to everyone who would like to deepen their understanding of different aspects of our Catholic faith. Many of us are cradle Catholics – born into Catholic families and having received the sacraments as infants or alongside classmates. Yet, we may not have had the opportunity to fully explore the reasons and deeper meanings behind the sacraments and Catholic practices. This program is an opportunity to do just that. You are warmly invited to attend any session that interests you. Come learn, share, and grow in faith with your Parish community!

“The sacraments of baptism, confirmation and Eucharist are the final stage in which the elect come forward and, with their sins forgiven, are admitted into the people of God, receive the adoption of sons of God, are led by the Holy Spirit into the promised fullness of time and, in the Eucharistic sacrifice and meal, to the banquet of the kingdom of God” (RCIA – no. 198)
